Application Criteria
We publish our criteria so you know where you stand before you pay a fee. Every application is evaluated against the same written standards.
Application fee
$49 per adult applicant (18 or older). Every adult who will live in the home must submit their own application.
What we look for
- Gross monthly household income of at least 3x the monthly rent, verifiable through pay stubs, employer verification, or equivalent documentation.
- Credit and background check completed on every applicant 18 or older.
- No evictions in the past 5 years.
- Positive rental history or prior homeownership.
- Valid government-issued photo ID.
- A complete and truthful application. Incomplete or falsified applications are denied.
All applications are evaluated consistently, using these same criteria for every applicant, in compliance with the Federal Fair Housing Act and applicable Kansas fair housing laws.
